It not everyday a plane flies into your room
while your at work today
smoke billows and fire spreads
people jump from high up towers
other run down in fear
before smoke engulfs them
and fate has made it clear
families worry
fireman race
to the twins who have suffered a great fate
the shock and awe so powerfully
as smoke filled tower became a tomb
so many great people
sadly faded away
there loss on such a tragic day
where none could have imagined this
would ever happen to them
as they went to work that day
as new yorker were hit
in such a awful way
as now most of rubble and iron
has been cleared away
the area stands as a memorial too
those lives who were lost
and to all the brave people who tried so desperately to save them from death too
the world stops for a brief moment and remembers you.

As Tripoli start to fall
as rebels come in and make a call
Gaddafi and his men start to flee
as time is running out and a change in destiny
the fires may burn and people are injured too
self-sacrifice by many innocent men
who decided to volunteer and fight too
for a cause they felt was just
and their freedom of choice to have change
many have come many have died
and many families have shed tears flocked out of the country to escape their fears
and run away hoping for a brighter new day
what will happen very soon
as people come back home
from far away
as a newly formed government
will have its say
will it be good and will they stay true
and make a brighter future for Libya too
we will have to wait and see
as this change brought a country
of people to fight and some to flee
whilst their own blood was spilt
with terror too
a time for peace is coming soon.

They were sat in the kitchen
when an intruder walked in
ginnie and Jennie
said let fun begin
with a leap and pounce
much to its surprise
they had found a new toy
this one was alive
its squealed and it jumped
they pounce with joy
well this is much better than any of our toys
it made a dash across the room
but soon realised it was there was no escape
as one pounced and the battered it too
they had caught their first mouse
it had no right in their room
it had no chance to survive and I couldn’t get near it too
as the pair of them ran off with it
and claimed victory too
ginnie and Jennie one mouse nil
was the score that day the moral of this story
is there is no room at the flat
for mice to stay
when ginnie and Jennie
come out to play.

The tanks are rolling and shooting people too
how much longer can world sit by idly and watch
the innocent Syrian people suffer like this still
its time for turkey, egypt iran ,Israel,Lebanon
to get around the tables and sit and talk too
discuss a resolution and way to end this suicidal mission
of Syrian leader and bring about peace too
before this becomes war
and muslims and arabs rise up and all end up fighting
one another and this spreads out of control too
these people desperately need our help
and very soon too
as this man is out off control
and civil war will be there soon.
