Christmas carols cards and tales
wine bear and pints of ale
trees glistening and fairy tales
families reunite from afar and friends so dear
smiles greeting with warmth and grace
christmas have come again
with cheers and a happy face
homes sparkle with lights and tinsel
as people celebrate with humour and merriment
as log fires burn brightly as music and partying
greets the ears
church bells ring carols we hear
people sing hymns and prayers so clear
to lord our saviour christmas is here.
Well said, Kevin!! Very nicely done. Peace, love and blessings, Terri
Hello Theresa i hope your well but i suspect from what one of your poems i read exmotherinlaw that things arent good again, i wish you a lovely christmas with peace and happiness and warm smile each day and lots of luck in life for you and mark and your daughter from kevin. how long has your blog been going i ask becuase iam amzed at how many visits you have had.take care.
Just barely under a year now, Kevin. All of the visits all of the sudden started racking up when I began to do my humor posts and from some of the e-mails that I reposted. The one mom sent me on the pencils alone has been hit over 14K times. I was getting around 1500 -2000 visits a day for a little while from stumbleupon but since they changed their formatting, I’m lucky to get 200 now. Somehow though I have started getting about 140-200 daily hits from google and bing and yahoo. Now I’m back down to around 500 daily, which is nothing to sneeze at. Besides the 230 or so wp & twitter followers, I have 48 on bloggers, 21 on digg and just recently joined tumblr and already have 5 there. So I have made so major gains just in the last 4-6 months. do you use all of your publicize options? It can be a bit time consuming but it is worth the effort in getting your blog viewed. I’m still striving to get a good idea of what is most popular and get published. Hoping and praying, anyway, lol! Love, Terri
P.S. The mother in law thing isn’t mine, it was just a writing prompt. Actually, Mark’s mom and I get along great 🙂
your a genius ive only been writing the same amount of time as you Theresa but the difference is your words are pure quality and very professional try site called blurb do a practice run off converting it into the book with the software have read of see how it looks then undo it then you havent commited your self worth a try there are some other site s my advice would be from your poems use the relgous one you did four months ago they are your best one try them first as book i think theyre your bread and butter.they will sell even as a ebook.take care from kevin
