Whislt dancing leaves rustle and play
as wind blows and sends them away
falling and floating and spiralling down
the once green grass now where s a rustic crown
yellows purples beige and browns
crumpled and crinkled all over the ground
decaying their life slowly drifting away
autumn has come and blown them away
untill spring gives new birth and trees grow again
long will the wind blow and play
with rustling leaves each autumn day
One of your best ones yet Kevin! I loved it. Blessings and happy Thankgiving, Terri

I love poems about autumn and you have caught the feel of it beautifully. I have just come in from a walk and the weather was cold and windy and the leaves were dancing madly!! x
