Tranquil moments sweet dreams   4 comments

Tranquil moments sweet dreams

rivers flowing in mountain streams

birds flying high in the sky

eyes gazing at life going by

torrents of tears rushing by

pools of thought tears run dry

memory’s past flow like a stream

dazed pictures from deep within

floppy eared rabbits dinner for two   2 comments

Rabbits running riot running so free

cute little bunnies very sweet like you

made nice little dinner and a snack or two

only problem was fur gets between my teeth

whilst hopping so madly whilst i am trying to eat

if they weren’t so cute and didn’t hop so madly

I would have let them run free

then christmas dinner  would have been so sad

on what would have been such a good day

would have been turned mad

with floppy eared carrot crunchers

driving me mad

running riot with carrots battering the cats

the fur would have flown meowing mercifully

the christmas day would have been ruined

with mad rabbits on the loose crucifying

sweet little pussy

Freedom of the heavens   4 comments

Freedom of the heavens

and moonlit galaxy’s

so far

far away

untold mysterys of sparkling

heavenly beauties high up in the night sky

on display new earths to be found

shrouded in mystery

mists and clouds races of alien people and creatures

we have never  dreamed off or seen

awaiting our discovery

to fulfil our imaginations and dreams

wonders to amaze the imagination too

the mystery of the night sky

hidden galaxy’s and black holes

await so far

far away

in the freedom of the heavens

so far

far away

while we sit watch and gaze.

The poetry of love   2 comments

The poetry of love

the voice sings so seductively

harmonious notes of pure poetry

loving sounds of a voice so pure and so  clear

pure joy

when you whisper

when you whisper

so dear

your heart is the chorus

its rhythm beats each day

its rhythm beats each day

with poetry of love

it sings and sings

so gently

so gently rhyming

its rhythm away

Love let the heart shine from deep within   Leave a comment

Love let the heart shine from deep within

the heavenly glow of fate and sin

the warmth of sun you beat away

hot fiery passionate sounds

of which you play

rhythmically  you purr

singing away faster and faster

it takes my breath away

the heart of life tick tick tocking

singing from within the passionate tunes you play

beat beating you flow pump pumping away

rhythmically you rhyme

your little heart

your little heart

beat beat beating away

your heavenly glow flows away

from deep within fires burn away

By heavens light they sail away   Leave a comment

By heavens light they sail away

through Portsmouth’s entrance

across the sea

many sailors have sailed in once

our great navy

from time of Nelson’s great navy

Copenhagen,Ashanti , Nile and Trafalgar

to the home of britain royal navy

is where they sail from Portsmouth

a city full of fine magnificent history

from great first and second world wars

right back to king henry viii and the Elizabethans

the pride of Portsmouth is known for being mighty

in modern times Falklands , gulf  and my others times

Portsmouth has had its part to play in history

Field Marshall Montgomery

even enjoyed his football and watched our local team play

before and many great women and men of our services

left to fight on french beaches at d day

by heavens light did they sail away

stars guiding them to war and home

again with pride they were guarded by

our many ships of the great

Royal navy

Portsmouth the home of our proud Royal Navy

Let the heart open and birds sing   Leave a comment

Let heart open and birds sing

let sun shine and winds blow

let air be fresh and clear

let silence be tranquility

peace beauty and harmony

of quite sunday with autumn leaves

rustling tumbling down from the trees

waves lapping gently up against the sea wall

as cormorants fish and seagulls soar

the beauty of ship gently rocking

up and down just of the shore

sweetness of candy floss

at a fairground

rides move people scream in there seats

laughter and happiness down at the beach

children run  babies crawl

dogs bark car engines roar

pedals are pushed cycling

people relaxing by the seaside

under autumns bright beautiful sky.
