A UNEARTHLY BEING CAME TO SEE ME   6 comments

As I sat there gazing out of an office window

one night  I saw something

unearthly standing there before me

lent up against a swing was something

heavenly

a vision glowing before me

i saw brief outline of young Jacky

who had passed away a short while ago

who was an adult with a learning disability

she was glowing so translucency

a woman who had once lived

here had come back so briefly

to show there is life after death

in one moment so briefly

by her favourite swing

she stood there before me

for a minute and half it seemed

like night had turned into day

as this golden outline of Jacky

became reality

the night an unearthly bieng came to see me

a true story about jacky kelly

  1. This and the more recent poems cause shivers as seems so real. (Small typo, but on title, so important to fix: “Being”

    • this was real it happened shortly after jacky died in the back garden of her home where she had lived where i work.i had also felt her presence every night for two weeks up untill the day she had her funeral.

  2. beautiful!
