The clouds have arrived and greyness has set in
the kittens are resting this afternoon
as rains come in and bring about gloom
the words flow as poetry begins
the radio plays the artists sings
the news broadcasts people listen
and debate it through and through
people do crosswords and watch
a film relaxing too
time to contemplate and think through
the daily occurrences
in our lives too
as wet summers day visits us too
