They flee in terror

and get fired upon too

the innocent people

who just want change

and to enjoy their lifes too

the Syrians flee their goverment

and face a brutal  reality

there lives being destroyed

and all they want is peace

the spring has come and gone too

there fight for change

still goes on and their slaughter too

we stand by idly watching from outside

but what can we do

is there any need for all the shooting killing ,murdering

of innocent people don’t they deserve a choice

and a life too

may peace and happiness come to them

and may they get help and understanding too

in their time of need

we pray and hope for them too.

  1. Inspiring and beautiful! Thank you for sharing 🙂

  2. This poem was very touching. I got a bitter-sweet feel from it. It’s good that you write from your heart because that’s how poetry should be.

  3. wow…….. its awesome………..All the best continue posting such beautiful poems.

  4. it was really beautiful I love it….

  5. We most certainly do pray for them. I believe that governments who perpetuate that sort of fear in their people are showing every sign of just how much control they are afraid they do not have at all.

Thank you also for your very nice comments over at my blog. Means a lot. 🙂

    • hello amber thanks for your lovely comment its most appreciated .yes its awful to think a country would do that to its own citizens .its also very risky of spiiling out of the borders into a war which none of us want. your blog is very nice.

  6. ‘THEY FLEE IN TERROR AND GET FIRED UPON TOO… I feel so much a kindred spirit and for you to see just how much I ask you to go to my POEMS and ‘Tribute to Seekers of Freedom’
